Why Lady Jones
Most technology problems are actually people problems.
Adrian founded Lady Jones in 2020 at the request of friends and family — she was already on call, helping leaders pivot their teams and their technology. Because most technology problems are actually people problems, she led the technology transitions and the leadership development together, and has run them that way since.
Her leadership philosophy is built on CliftonStrengths. Talent is what you are born with. Strength is what you build, through deliberate investment in what makes you uniquely good.
Talent × investment = strength.
“Innovative” describes many leaders. Understanding how you are innovative is what belongs to you alone. Adrian’s own top five are Ideation, Strategic, Futuristic, Input, and Command: she innovates by reading everything, seeing the pattern early, and saying the hard thing out loud. Yours will read differently, and that is the point.
Nine years at the LSU Foundation, promoted year over year, gave her a point of view few consultants hold: she has been on the frontlines of fundraising and built the systems that sustain success and support high performance. She left as Assistant Vice President for Advancement Services, having built the data and technology infrastructure behind a record $1.5 billion campaign, and went on to be Chief Growth Officer at ThreeSixtyEight, where the agency became Baton Rouge’s first B-Corp and made the Inc. 5000 three years running. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive, a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, and a LinkedIn Top Voice in Strategy and Philanthropy. She is a Partner at Success Labs and host of the Leading in Change podcast.
She speaks on gaming and leadership, leading in change, and nonprofit and organizational excellence — a line of argument that started when her analytics career began in World of Warcraft, building dashboards to track raid performance. She has been making the case for play as serious skill-building ever since. Book her to speak.
